Ladies, you are beautiful. Yes, I’m talking to you! A workmanship created in Christ Jesus, wonderfully made, and precious in His sight. Oh…and did I forget to mention that He, Jesus Christ, the God of the universe, loves you and cares about you?!
You have been made new. Old things are passed away. Jesus has paid the penalty for your sins. You are forgiven!
You are a princess, a daughter of The King. Called, chosen and set apart to be His ambassador to your world. You are His light. A city set on a hill that cannot be hid.
With a resume like that, the possibilities are endless! So what are you going to do about it? You have given your life to God, now He has given it back to you. I challenge you to rise up with confidence. You have a purpose to fulfill.
There are people in your world who need to be ministered to. Someone needs a to see a smile. Someone needs to hear a compliment. Someone needs mercy. Someone needs forgiveness. Someone needs to be loved. Someone needs you to have patience with them. Someone needs to encounter Jesus Christ. You are His hands, His feet, His voice, His arms, His eyes.
Look on others as He sees them. You will see them differently. You will treat them differently.
Remember Who you are representing. When your ‘carnal man’ wants to rise up, beat it down. Strengthen your ‘spiritual man’. If Jesus Christ reigns in your life, let Him, not the flesh, determine what your reactions/responses will be. Don’t just keep Jesus as a guest in your life. Make Him the host. Submit yourself to Him. If you find yourself making choices of which principles/guidelines you will follow and which ones you won’t, guess what…, He’s still only a guest in your life. He’s not your Lord. Have you completely surrendered to Him? Have you surrendered even those things that you love so much? He’s calling you to higher ground. He’s asking you to climb to another spiritual level. Grow in your relationship with Him.
Yes, He bought you, but you are not a slave, bound to Him forever. He has called you ‘friend’. You are free to go at anytime. He wants you to serve Him because you love Him, not because you are forced to do so.
When you love someone, you want to please him/her. You make sacrifices because of love. You lay aside your own will and desires. And, funny thing, you are happy to do so. When you are in love, selfishness cannot exist, or at least it shouldn’t.
Serve Jesus Christ out of love. Serve others out of love. Remember the love that He loves you with… He loves others with that same kind of love. They deserve the same response from you that they would get from Him. Let your light so shine before ‘men’. Go Light Your World!
